What You’ll Do as a Prompt Engineer

As a Prompt Engineer at Netomi AI, you’ll design, optimize, and evaluate prompts to maximize AI performance and deliver tailored solutions for our clients. Here’s a closer look at your responsibilities:

1. Prompt Development

  • Create client-specific prompts that ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Define tool descriptions for agentic frameworks to enhance AI-driven interactions.

2. Optimization & Testing

  • Refine prompts for clarity, performance, and efficiency.
  • Automate testing processes using scripts to ensure consistent results.
  • Evaluate large language models (LLMs) to identify the best-fit solutions for client needs.

3. Evaluation & Benchmarking

  • Develop frameworks to evaluate prompt effectiveness.
  • Benchmark prompts to establish best practices and drive continuous improvement.

4. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Partner with Customer Success and Data Science teams to deliver customized AI solutions.
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation on prompt development and optimization processes.

5. Research & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring advancements in NLP and AI.
  • Experiment with new prompting strategies and adapt models to meet evolving demands.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration skills. Here are the qualifications we seek:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of NLP and machine learning principles.
  • Hands-on experience in AI prompt engineering, including writing, optimizing, and evaluating prompts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
